Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub-Zero was a terrible game, but with fun, yet cheesy, cuts scenes. It remains a Nostalgic trip for me regardless. So today, I'm gonna take the games script and remix it. I do this for fun, So don't take it too seriously.
Intro
Thousands of years ago,the Earth was Devastated by a battle between the Gods. It was a War between Good and Evil. A War that would decide the fate of the World and plunged it into Centuries of Darkness. Now the World is in danger of being fought once again. Only one Mortal can stop it.

Shaolin Temple - China

Sub-Zero arrives at the Temple. He takes out his Grappling Hook. He swings it and throes it to the Top of the Temple. Sub-Zero uses the Hook's rope to climb to the Top of the Temple. When he reaches the Top, He breaks though the Window.
Just a few steps in, he encounters Scorpion, his Mortal Rival.
Sub-Zero: What?! Scorpion!
Scorpion: Sub-Zero. Why are You here? Come to get the Map, I take it?. Sorry, Lin Kuei scum, but that Map is Mine.
Sub-Zero: I Will get that Map and will kill all who get in my way....especially, You.
Scorpion: Hahahaha. Face it, Lin Kuei, You will fail. Hahahaha.
And with that Scorpion smashes a Smoke Bomb to the floor, unleashing a huge area of smoke. When the smoke clears, Scorpion is gone.
Sub-Zero: Damn. I can't let that fool get that Map.
Sub-Zero chases after Scorpion, as he does, he fights off a bunch of Shaolin Monks, who are protecting the temple. As Sub-Zero moves though the Temple, he also encounters The Temple's Traps, which included a Crushing Pillar, which almost hit Ice Warrior.
As Sub-Zero moves though the Temple, he is confronted by a Huge Group of 15 Shaolin Monks. Normally, The Ice Warrior would have little issue defeating all of them, but he was on a Timed Mission, and had no time to deal with them.
The Ice Warrior runs, the 15 Monks follow. Sub-Zero comes to a window, with the 15 Monks closing in fast. Sub-Zero decides to take a leap of faith and jump out of the Window. Fortunately he lands on an Awning. With Grace, Sub-Zero jumps from the Awning, onto the balcony of the level below.
Sub-Zero sees another entrance where he stands and re-enters the temple. After fighting more Monks and avoiding another one of those Crushing Pillars. He finally makes it to the Sacred Chamber, where the Map is.
Sub-Zero sees Scorpion walking casually to the Alter where the Map is. The Ice Warrior runs toward his rival.
Sub-Zero: Scorpion!!!
Scorpion stops and turns to his rival.
Scorpion: Hahahahah! You've arrived sooner than expected. I thought for sure those Shaolin Monks would've been more than enough to slow you down. You truly Are gifted ..... for a Lin Kuei. Hahaha!
Sub-Zero, annoyed at the stealth insult.
Sub-Zero: At least I made it here with skill, You, on the other hand, got lucky, Shirai Ryu. But enough childish banter, We both came for the same item and I Won't let you get it.
Scorpion: Hahahaha! I don't believe in luck. However, if you still doubt my skills as an Elite Shirai Ryu Warrior, I'll be happy to obliterate that doubt.
Scorpion takes a fighting stance, as does Sub-Zero.
Scorpion: The Map is Mine Sub-Zero....as is You're Life!
The 2 Rivals Battle it out, Sub-Zero using his Ice Powers from time to time, which is an advantage. Scorpion, meanwhile has his "Grappling Spear", a Kunai-headed Grappling Hook, that also doubles as a Blade.
After the battle, Sub-Zero stands exhausted, but triumphant. Scorpion, slowly gets up, bloodied and battered.
Sub-Zero: As a show of respect for your skills and the fact that you fought with honor, I will give you the least painful death that I can give to you.
Sub-Zero powers up his Ice Blast to great levels and fires it at Scorpion, deep freezing him. With a solid back fist, Sun-Zero breaks the Frozen Shirai Ryu into pieces, killing him. After bowing to Scorpion's frosen remains, Sub-Zero heads to the Alter and grabs the Map.
From a distance, Sub-Zero hears more Monks coming. He looks for a way out and finds one all the way upward to the Bell Tower when he sees a rope leading to it. After putting the Map in his belt, Sub-Zero runs to the rope and climbs it. He eventually reaches the top of the Bell Tower. Sub-Zero heads toward one of the openings and looks down.
He then creates an Ice Slide and slides down to the ground below, escaping the Temple.

Lin Kuei headquarters

Successful in his mission, Sub-Zero escapes from the Shaolin temple. And Hours later, returns to the secret Lin Kuei headquarters, hidden high above the mountains of northern China. He enters the Grandmaster's Chamber, Map in hand, where the Lin Kuei Grandmaster awaits on his throne.
Sub-Zero kneels and presents the Map.
Sub-Zero: Grandmaster, in honor of the Lin Kuei,I bring you this sacred Map of Elements.
Grandmaster: Once again, our most cunning assassin and thief is successful. You are truly becoming a legend,Sub-Zero. At ease, my Lin Kuei warrior.
AS Sub-Zero stands, an evil-looking sorcerer, carrying a bag arrives. This is Quan Chi.
Quan Chi: Greetings, I see the ninja has been successful in retrieving my map...as I have forseen.
Sub-Zero takes offense.
Sub-Zero: Let's get something straight...I am not a ninja. I am Lin Kuei. Scorpion was a ninja!
Quan Chi: Ah yes, your Japanese counterpart. It's unfortunate that you happened upon him in your battle with the pesky Shaolin monks.
Sub-Zero turns to his Grandmaster.
Sub-Zero: Scorpion was tipped off... he knew I was breaking into that temple, and if he weren't there - there wouldn't have been a battle!
He turns back to Quan Chi
Sub-Zero: I take it You are the one responsible for this,sorcerer?!
Quan Chi: Heh. Well,to be honest with You, as I rarely am with anyone, I've also retained Scorpion's services. In case you failed, I needed some assurance.
Sub-Zero: Well, your peace of mind almost cost me this mission.
Quan Chi: Had I known that the full extent of your abilities would be That amazing, I wouldn't have recruited Scorpion. As they say, never trust a psychic.
Sub-Zero grunts,ready to attack. But stops when he here's his Grandmaster
Grandmaster: Enough of This!
Grandmaster gets up from his throne and walks toward Quan Chi and Sub-Zero
Grandmaster: Quan Chi...Tell Me,what about our payment?
Quan Chi: Oh yes, I almost forgot...
Quan Chi dumps the contents of the bag onto the floor. Which are a bunch of bones and a Skull.
Quan Chi: I present to you The Bones of your arch nemesis, and Dai-Sensei of Scorpion's ninja clan,the Shirai Ryu.
Grandmaster picks up the Skull and laughs.
Quan Chi: And I've personally made certain that every last remnant of their clan has been completely eliminated.
Grandmaster: Our ancient foes.... vanquished in one transaction. You see Sub-Zero... you can trust a sorcerer sometimes.
Sub-Zero: You wanted this? Here.
Sub-Zero tries to give the map to Quan-Chi,but he rejects.
Quan Chi: No,you keep it. You'll be making use of it in the next few days.
Sub-Zero: What?
Grandmaster: Quan Chi has once again retained your services, Sub-Zero.
Sub-Zero: Fine, give me the details.
Quan Chi takes the Map and opens it. He then shows Sub-Zero it's contents.
Quan Chi: This map you stole... it shows the way to a temple which predates man's recorded history on Earth. For thousands of years,the Temple of Elements has been hidden in what are now known as the Himalayan Mountains of Nepal. This map is the only evidence of its existence.
Sub-Zero: Fine... I get to the temple and then what? What's there?
Quan Chi: An Amulet. A small amulet... worthless to you, but..let's just say it has great sentimental value to me.
Sub-Zero: Can't be Too worthless,if You're willing to pay big for it.
Quan Chi: The rewards I offered Your Clan in the past are Nothing compared what I'm willing to pay for that Amulet. It truly Is something special
Sub-Zero: If it's so precious, why not get it yourself?
Quan Chi: I cannot enter the temple until the four Guardian Gods within its walls have been defeated. And, as many are aware, I am not on the best of terms with the Gods of your Realm... especially your God of Thunder
Sub-Zero: Tell me about these elements?
Quan Chi: They are the four elements which compromise the very existence of your realm... Wind, Water, Earth, and Fire. With your mastery of the element of cold, you have an advantage that no other human has... the ability to defeat the elements. Once You've defeated the Gods, you will need their Divine Medallions to open up Rayden's Sacred Chamber, where the Amulet is being held. It's a diffecult task, but I know you can succeed....I have forseen this.
The Next Day,Sub-Zero scales the gorges of the massive Himalayan Mountains.There he discovers the entrance into the Temple of Elements.

Temple of Elements (Entrance and Wind Shrine)

Sub-Zero comes to the entrance of the Temple. The Main gate leads to the Sky Shrine of Fujin, God of Wind.
Sub-Zero enters the Wind Shrine - A Shrine in the Sky. The Wind howls and starts being violent. Sub-Zero Fights though the strong wind, while battling Lightning Monks, Floating Shaolin Monks, with Electric Staves. Using his fighting skills and Ice Abilities, Sub-Zero fights though the shrine and makes it to a long bridge, with rising deadly wind tunnels. After crossing the Bridge, Sub-Zero reaches the Wind Alter, where Fujin awaits.
Fujin: State Your affairs?
Sub-Zero: My affairs are none of your business. However, I will say this - In order for my mission to succeed, You and your fellow Gods must be destroyed. Nothing personal, just business.
Fujin: Turn back Now, Mortal, or be Torn to Shreds by my Divine Winds.
Sub-Zero says nothing, he just takes a fighting stance.
Fujin: Have it your way.
The fight between Fujin and Sub-Zero begins. The Wind Powers of Fujin v. The Ice Powers of Sub-Zero. Sub-Zero manages to defeat the Wind God. The Wind Medallion appears on the Alter. The Medallion is White with a "Wind" Emblem on it. Sub-Zero takes the Medallion and finds an Elevator Platform.
Sub-Zero: That must lead to the next Shrine.
Sub-Zero boards the Platform and rides it down. On his way down, Sub-Zero gets lost in a thought.
Sub-Zero: I still can't believe the Entire Shirai Ryu are gone. Our ancient foes all dead, thanks to our benefactor. Still..I would've preferred it if We did the killing Ourselves, through honorable combat. Even if they were Our Greatest Enemies, they didn't deserve such cheap deaths.
The platform reaches the Water Shrine. Sub-Zero jumps off the Platform.

Temple of Elements (Water Shrine)

Sub-Zero finds himself in the Water Shrine, a Chamber with multiple paths and a grating floor over water.
Sub-Zero: Time to defeat the Water God and get the next Medallion. Question is? Which path leads to the Water God?
Sub-Zero observes the 4 paths before him, each in a general direction. Sub-Zero decides to take the North path first. There he gets into a brawl with a bunch of Ice Stick Wielding Monks. After beating them up, Subzero moves forward and reaches a dead end.. Suddenly a giant water hand rises from the ground and tries to grab Sub-Zero. It's one of the Shrines Water Traps.
Sub-Zero freezes it with an Ice Blast and follows it up with a jump kick. The frozen hand shatters. Sub-Zero leaves before it gets a chance to re-form.
Sub-Zero: I'm guessing 3 of these paths leads a trap and the other leads to the Boss.
When he reaches the main hall, Sub-Zero checks the Map of Elements to find out where to go. Sub-Zero examines the "Water" section of the Map. He finds the right path. The Icey Warrior puts the map away and heads East.
After batting more Ice Stick Monks, Sub-Zero comes to the Alter of Water. Suddenly a geyser shoots up from the grated floor and forms a female figure, Sub-Zero's taken a back a bit. This Is The Goddess of Water, Suijin
Suijin: Why have you come, Ice Warrior? Why do you invade our Sacred Home?
Sub-Zero: I'm on a mission. Like I told your half-brother earlier, this isn't personal, just business.
Sub-Zero takes a fighting stance.
Suijin: Fool. I'll smash you with my Divine Waves.
Suijin attacks with a powerful water wave, Sub-Zero dodges. despite being underpowered, Sub-Zero has the Type Advantage with his Ice Blasts freezing Suijin And her watery attacks, which allows him get in some great combo strikes.
When it's all said and done, the Water Goddess falls. She then turns into a puddle and sinks though the grated floor, back into the Water. The Water Medallion appears on the Alter. It is Blue with the "Water" Emblem on it
Sub-Zero takes the Medallion and sees another elevator platform behind the Alter. Sub-Zero wastes no time and boards it, riding it down.
As he's riding the elevator platform, Sub-Zero goes into thought.
Sub-Zero: Quan Chi said he was hated by the Gods? I wonder what he did to offend them?
The platform reaches the Earth Shrine.

Temple of Elements (Earth Shrine)

Sub-Zero steps off the platform and looks around. The Earth Shrine is a rocky maze, with the Earth Alter at the end of it. Sub-Zero checks the Map again for the right path. He find it and moves forward though the Stone Maze. Within the maze, Sub-Zero comes face to face with Giant Monks with Big Hammers.
It's a tougher fight, but Sub-Zero manages to defeat the Big Warriors. Thanks to the Map'a help, the Lin Kuei has no problems navigating though the maze, though he does face some Earth-based traps like Falling Boulders. Sub-Zero exits the maze and comes to a huge open area with the Earth Alter.
Suddenly a huge pile of big rocks falls from the ceiling, ala an Avalanche. The big rocks form the huge God of Earth, Chijin. Sub-Zero is surprised at the size of his opponent.
Chijin: Vile Ninja, who violates the domain of the Gods, My Divine Avalanche will Crush You!
Sub-Zero: The bigger they are the harder they fall. And I'm Not a Ninja. I an Lin Kuei!!
Sub-Zero goes in for the attack, but his attacks do little damage. The Earth God just sneers and pushes Sub-Zero back hard with a swing of his arm. The Lin Kuei smashes into the wall. Chijin summons a small avalanche to crush Sub-Zero. Sub-Zero dodges, he then uses his Ice Blast on the Giant Stone God, but it doesn't do much damage and when frozen, Chijin quickly breaks out of it.
As Sub-Zero dodges Chijin's rocky attacks, he grows a bit frustrated, wondering how to damage the Stone God. He then gets an idea....something that his Late-Mother, an Elite Lin Kuei Assassin, once told him.
Voice of Sub-Zero's Mother in his mind: Bi-Han, when all else fails...summon your inner Beast. Animality!
Sub-Zero repeats his Mother's final word. With new resolve, Sub-Zero forms an Ice Grenade and throws it at Chijin, which manages to stun him. As the God is stunned, Sub-Zero begins meditating. After a few minutes, He starts to glow and then, Transforms into a Giant Yeti.
Yeti Sub-Zero clashes with the Giant Rock God and eventually beats him. Yeti Sub-Zero grabs Chijin's head and crushes it to pieces. He then smashes the body to pieces. Yeti Sub-Zero lets out a mighty roar, before turning back.
The Earth Medallion appears on the Alter. It's Green and has the "Earth" Emblem on it. Sub-Zero grabs the Medallion and takes the elevator platform, behind the Alter, down to the final Shrine - The Fire Shrine.
While riding the platform down, Sub-Zero has another thought.
Sub-Zero: The Amulet? I wonder what's so important about it? Does Quan Chi know something that We don't? And if this Amulet Is Just a Mere Trinket, then Why is it so heavily guarded? Is this Amulet is a One-of-a-Kind Treasure worth a God's Ransom?
The platform reaches the Fire Shrine. Sub-Zero steps off the platform.

Temple of Elements (Fire Shrine)

The Fire Shrine is Rocky, but filled with Lava and Fire. And Flame Traps. Due to the heat, thanks to his Cyromancer Blood, Sub-Zero has issues focusing, but he keeps on going, determined to finish his mission.
Sub-Zero faces Rising Fire from the Lava, Fire Ball Spitting Statues, and Fire Breathing Monks. Due to the 200+ Degree domain, not only is Sub-Zero himself weakened, but his Ice Powers are too. So, Sub-Zero is forced to fight the Monks without his Ice Powers.
Eventually, Sub-Zero comes to the Fire Alter. Kajin, the Fire God jumps out of the Lava and confronts Sub-Zero; Kajin is a dude that's made mostly of Flame.
Kajin: You're mission ends here, Ice Warrior. My Divine Blaze shall Burn You Alive.
Kaijin attacks. Sub-Zero counters. With his Ice Powers currently disabled, his focus stifled, and his life-forced halfened, Sub-Zero struggles to battle. It's all thanks to the Extreme Heat, made worse by the Fire God.
Sub Zero decides to try something. He powers up his Ice Blast to maximum strength and shoots it. The Super Ice Blast turns to thick vapor, the vapor "blinds" Kajin. With the Fire God blinded, Sub-Zero, with all of his strength, delivers a massive 30-hit combo.
After the final blow, Kajin explodes into fire.
Sub-Zero: Brutality!
From the Alter, the Fire Medallion, a Red Medallion with the "Fire" Emblem on it, appears. Sub-Zero takes it and then rides the elevator platform, behind the Alter, all the way up to the Final Area of the Temple - Rayden's Domain.
As Sub-Zero is riding the platform Up this time, He begins thinking.
Sub-Zero: That Amulet....Why was it so heavily guarded? Did it belong to Rayden. Was it a Sacred Treasure of the Thunder God? And Why does Quan Chi want it so badly? Is there more to this thing than meets the eye? Are my People being kept in the dark?

Temple of Elements (Rayden's Sacred Chamber)

The first part of the domain is very small, and only has one Big Door, plus a panel. The Panel has indents for the 4 Sacred Elemental Medallions. Sub-Zero jumps off the platform and walks to the Panel.
Sub-Zero: Looks like that panel's where I put the Medallions.
Sub-Zero places the 4 Medallions on the Panel. The Medallions glow, and the Big Door starts to open. When the doors open fully, Sub-Zero walks though it. He is Now in the 2nd part of the Domain - Rayden's Sacred Chamber.
Rayden's Chamber was big, with clouds and lightning being seen though the windows. In the back of the Room is a Giant Statue of Rayden, himself atop a staircase. Around the Statue's neck was The Amulet.
Sub-Zero: And their it is - The Amulet that Quan Chi wants and that the Gods were protecting so damn adamantly
Sub-Zero walks to the Stature and ascends the staircase. He takes a moment to admire the craftsmanship of the statue.
Sub-Zero: Whoever made this is quite the Craftsmen.
He then looks at the Amulet and yanks it from the Statues neck. As he descends the stairs, He begins examining the Amulet.
Sub-Zero: This doesn't seem Too valuable? But, if it isn't, Why was this thing so heavily guarded?
Suddenly, an unexpected visitor snatches the Amulet - It's Quan Chi!
Quan Chi: The Amulet... You found Shinnok's Amulet!!! Hahaha!
Sub-Zero: Wait..Who's Amulet?
Quan Chi: He is my deity, ruler of the Neatherealm and soon destroyer of your Earth Realm.
Examines the Amulet and laughs.
Quan Chi: This is definitely Shinnok's Amulet!
Sub-Zero: What the hell are you talking about? Who or What is this Shinnok?
Quan Chi: Shinnok is a former Elder God, who was prosecuted by the Others for his Progressive Ideas. He was cast into The Neatherralm, where he currently rules over. And This Amulet is the key to Shinnok's power as an Elder God. When returned to him, He will retain his powers and be freed from the confines of the Netherealm and free to conquer This Universe.
Sub-Zero: Wait! I though Shao Khan was the Ruler of ...
Quan Chi cuts Sub-Zero off.
Quan Chi: Shao Khan is nothing but a Peasant Ruler of a long dead Realm. Shinnok is the Master of All Realms..including Khan's Outworld and This Planet.
Sub-Zero: You're insane. That Amulet isn't worth the Bronze that it's molded from. Then again...you may have point Otherwise, this thing wouldn't have been so heavily guarded.
Quan Chi: Of course.
Quan Chi turns to Sub-Zero
Quan Chi: It's time I took my leave. Your clan has been paid handsomely for this Mission. Good-bye... ninja.
Sub-Zero watches as the Evil Sorcerer Teleports away.
Sub-Zero shrugs and and is about to leave. Then,suddenly, a blue bolt of electricity strikes the ground with thunderous fury. A new shape begins to form..But this time it's the God of Thunder,Rayden, who's not happy. Sub-Zero stops and turns to him, a bit surprised.
Sub-Zero: Rayden?!!
Rayden: Do you realize what you've done??
Sub-Zero: Earning my living and doing the Lin Kuei proud.
Rayden: Your clan's ignorance and greed, as well as your apathy, will cost this entire realm. This is a mess that You made and I expect You to clean it.
Sub-Zero: Forget it. Quan Chi could simply be a lunatic sorcerer. I've never heard of an Elder God named Shinnok or of a Place called the Netherealm. And even if he Is right, Shinnok's return to power doesn't effect The Lin Kuei.
Rayden chuckles at Sub-Zero's arrogance.
Rayden: We'll consider this, Grasshopper. What do you Think will happen if Shinnok conquers Earth? Do You think for One Nanosecond that He's gonna Spare Your Clan? Wrong. And even if he does, The Lin Kuei Will be under His Command. I know the Lin Kuei has ambitions to control the World themselves via Clan Expansion to other Nations. But, with Shinnok as the Master of This Universe.. those goals are both trashed and burned.
Sub-Zero takes in Rayden's words and realizes that he May be right. He relents than sighs.
Sub-Zero: Fine. I'll do it, Thunder God... but only because I have no choice. I must fight for the Survival of my Clan.
Rayden: Then stand back...
Rayden creates a portal into the Netherealm. Lightning and warped space converge as he points his staff at the center of the portal's surging energy.
Rayden: This is a portal into the Netherealm. Like with Outworld, I have little to no Dominion there. Once through, follow Quan Chi and get the Amulet before he gives it to Shinnok. If somehow, You're too late, You must go to Shinnok's Pyramid to get it back. I also offer this advice... beware the Brothers of the Shadow. The Netherealm is a place for lost souls. If you fail, your soul will join theirs..and so will the souls of this entire realm. ... You are reality's only hope, as much as I hate to admit it.
Sub-Zero: I'll try to keep that in mind, Thunder God.
Sub-Zero charges through the portal.

Within the Gates of The Prison of Souls.
----------------------------------------------
Sub-Zero arrives at the Prison of Souls in the Neatherealm. The Prison of Souls looks and acts like a typical American Max Security prison..but 50x worse. He soon sees Quan Chi.
Quan Chi: Ah..the Ninja? What brings You here?
Sub-Zero: That Amulet. For the sake of Survival of the Lin Kuei, I can't allow Shinnok to have it.
Quan Chi laughs.
Quan Chi: No need to worry, ninja. Your Clan have been such good useful idiots, that I'm sure Shinnok will spare them... and then make them part of his legion of worshipers.
Sub-Zero: The Lin Kuei bow to No One!
Quan Chi: Oh, but they Will..or they will Die.
Quan Chi laughs and teleports away.
Sub-Zero: Wait! Sorcerer!!! Damn It!!!
Suddenly, ultra-creepy/scary alarms are loudly heard. Sub-Zero holds his hands up to his ears.
Sub-Zero: What The Hell!!!!
Suddenly a bunch of Prison Guards rush out of the Main Prison. These guards are monstrous and very grotesque. They surround Sub-Zero.
Sub-Zero: Damn. I have to fight my way out of here and get to Shinnok's Pyramid before it's too late.
Sub-Zero attacks the guards and gives them a good fight. A Big Guard arrives and captures Sub-Zero in a sneak attack.

Prison of Souls

Captured and now imprisoned,Sub-Zero peers out of the bars of his cell and ponders his escape. A Guard strikes the bars with his weapon and shouts in an unknown language at him before leaving. The Lin Kuei fails to notice the shadowy figure of an Old Sage behind him.
Old Sage: He says escape is futile.
The Ninja turns and sees the figure.
Sub-Zero: Who are you?
Old Sage: A lost soul. The Guard is right,you know. Where would you escape to? If you are here,then you must belong here..rejected from your own Realm,no doubt.
Sub-Zero: I wasn't rejected,I was sent.
Old Sage: Rejected or sent, it matters not. You couldn't exist here,unless your soul contained the impurities of evil. No one escapes this Realm between the Living and the Dead...unless you are a Powerful God. So, I'm afraid You're stuck here.
The Lin Kuei turns his attention back to the Cell Door,trying to find an escape.
Sub-Zero: Heh! Haven't You ever tried to escape,Old Man?
Old Sage: Escape? Oh,I'll be leaving this Realm shortly. But first I must get back what is rightfully mine.
Sub-Zero turns around and the Old Sage is suddenly gone. As He is about to make an escape, The Lin Kuei is confronted by another shadowy figure behind him, this time of a Warrior.
Warrior: Don't bother worrying about escape.
Sub-Zero turns to face the Warrior.
Sub-Zero: And You are?
Warrior: I am a dead man. Someone from Your past. I find it Interesting that You somehow have retained your mortality. Yesss. Which means I can extract My Revenge.
Sub-Zero: Wait... that voice.
The Warrior comes out of the shadows - It's Scorpion!
Scorpion: Yessss... I knew you'd recognize Me. You long-time rival and enemy, Hanzo Hasashi, better known to You and Your Clan as Scorpion - The man You killed in cold blood.
Sub-Zero: I was on a mission for my Clan. Had I spared You, I would've been seen as Weak and would've been killed for it. .
Scorpion: Your clan are a bunch of Worthless Cowards, sending Quan Chi to kill my entire Clan, instead of attempting it themselves. I guess Your Grand Master really Was afraid of My DaiSensei.
Sub-Zero takes offense..but at the same time, knows that Scorpion has a point..
Sub-Zero: What?? My Grandmaster Fears No One!!! Admittedly, though, I would've done thing differently, as You said.
Scorpion: Your Hitman also managed to Kill My Wife and Child! Who were Innocent.
Sub-Zero: You're mistaken... No member of the Shirai Ryu is Innocent, not even Women and Children!
Scorpion: You and Your Clan will pay for that, Lin Kuei warrior.
Sub-Zero and Scorpion prepare to fight.
The 2 charge at each other and start fighting. They are evenly matched. Though Scorpion has a few new tricks. Besides his Spear/Grappling Hook, he also has a Flame Punch and can Teleport. Sub-Zero is taken by surprise by these new moves, but shakes it of and continues fighting.
In a surprise attack, Scorpion launches his grappling hook/spear at Sub-Zero and it stabs him.
Get Over Here!!!!!!
Sub-Zero is forcefully pulled towards Scorpion. Scorpion delivers an uppercut that dislodges the spear from his body and floors him. Hurt, but thankfully due to being mutant-like, the damage isn't too terrible.
Scorpion: Hahahah! Now to finish You, Lin Kuei Coward.
Scorpion pulls off his mask, revealing a flaming Skull Head. Scorpion breaths fire at the Ice Warrior. Sub-Zero dodges and fires off a Super Ice Blast at the flame, creating a wall of vapor. With Scorpion un able to see, Sub-Zero uses his slide attack to knock the Undead Ninja off his feet.
When the vapor clears, Sub-Zero grabs Scorpion by his neck and rips his head off...spine and all.
Sub-Zero: Victory for the Lin Kuei!
Suddenly, Scorpion's head and body become clouds of smoke, which move to the back of the room, taking Sub-Zero by surprise. They then combine and reform Scorpion.
Scorpion: You can not kill what has already been killed. We Will meet Again, Lin Kuei Coward.
Sub-Zero: For the record, Hanzo, I would've allowed your Wife and Child to become Warriors. Then I would've taken their lives in combat.
An Angry Scorpion teleports away in a giant flame.
After Scorpion's defeat, Sub-Zero deep freezes the Doors lock and breaks it. He then shoves the door open and runs though it. The Ultra creepy/scary alarms return and guards come rushing in. Sub-Zero battles the grotesque guards and rushes to find the way out.
The Prisoners are watching Sub-Zero fight his way out of the Prison. Each Prisoner more Horrifying than the last. After a bit, Sub-Zero finds the Exit. Now at the Main Gate within the inner walls, the creepy/scary alarm still blaring, but he's already drowned it out a while ago. He is confronted by 2 Big Guards and their Neatherrealm Hounds.
Sub-Zero fights the Hounds and The Big Guards. After defeating them. Sub-Zero pints his palms down at an angle, behind his back. He then launches himself over the wall of the Prison using his Super Ice Blasts
Sub-Zero: Free at last.

High atop a tower, overlooking the prison, 3 figures in black leather watch as Sub-Zero makes his way to freedom. These women are Kia,Jataaka,and Sareena - Quan Chi's personal assassins. Kia spies the mortal through binoculars.
Kia: Well, he's definitely a mortal. His soul is still contained within his body.
Jataaka: A mortal can't exist here with his soul intact, unless that mortal was corrupt!
Kia: Or Shinnok allowed such a thing.
Sareena: I'll inform Quan Chi. The two of you continue to track him.
Jakaata and Kia nod, as Sareena leaves for Shinok's Pyramid.
Shinnok's Pyramid looms over the Sea of Immortlity.

Shinnok's Pyramid (Quan Chi's Chamber)

Within its walls, Quan Chi sits on his throne, which is on the other side of a bridge over an Acid Pit. He is well aware of Sub-Zero's prison escape, Sipping a Chalice of an Unknown Beverage. Sareena enters his sanctuary and bows.
Sareena: Sir, a mortal has escaped from the Prison of Souls. He is headed toward the Sea of Immortality and..
The evil bald sorcerer cuts her off.
Quan Chi: And likely on his way here? I am Well aware of the Ice Ninja's abilities And his mission to take back Shinnok's Amulet.
Sareena: so..what should we do about him, sir?.
Quan Chi: Alert the Keepers and send a full garrison to intercept. Make sure that he does not cross the bridge.
Sareena: The Keepers? But..they're our 2nd Best Warriors. And a Full Garrison? Against a single Mortal Warrior? Isn't that a bit overdoing it, sir. Sure, he's good, but...I don't think That kind of force is necessary to stop him
Quan Chi grows annoyed and a bit angry at Sareena questioning him.
Quan Chi: Shinnok Didn't Choose You as One of His Elite Warriors to Think. Your Job is to Follow Orders, Not Give Opinions. Is That Clear?
Sareena, with a bit of fear at Quan Chi's words, bows.
Sareena: Y-yes, sir. Sorry for speaking out of terms.
Quan Chi: And if You Ever Question Me Again, Sareena... Your Punishment Will Be So Severe, So Painful, that it'll make The Tortures Hell Feel Like a Damn Foot Massage!!!. Now Do Not Fail Me. Understand?!! Summon The Keepers To Crush That Ice Ninja!!!
A slightly frightened Sareena bows and teleports away.
Quan Chi: We have toyed with the Ninja long enough. I grow tired of playing games.
Quan Chi sips more of his beverage and gets up off his throne, he then walks to a window behind it. The Window give those who look though it, a great view of the Hellish Landscape of Neatherrealm. He is soon joined by That Old Sage, who is now wearing Shinnok's Amulet.
Old Sage: An Amazing Warrior, isn't he? It's not every day we send our 2nd Best to exterminate a single mortal.
Quan Chi , more calm now, looks briefly at the Sage and turns back to the window, taking another drink of his Chalice of, assumable, an alcoholic beverage
Quan Chi: The Keepers will take care of the Ninja, Lord Shinnok. However, should the Keepers and the Neatherealm Special Forces fail to do the job.. The Brothers of the Shadow Will finish him.
Old Sage chuckles
Old Sage: And That's when I get his Soul. Keep tabs on the Lin Kuei's progress. I'm going to polish my Amulet in my chambers.
Quan Chi looks back at The Old Sage as he chuckles menacingly and teleports away. Quan Chi turns back to the window, drinking more of his beverage.

The Bridge of Immortality

Sub-Zero is walking on the Bridge over the Sea of Immortality.
Sub-Zero: The Neatherealm is one creepy place, the sooner this mission is over the better.
Suddenly, 6 Big Planes fly over. Sub-Zero stops to look at them. The Planes open up and groups of armored warriors jump down from each. The warriors land on the bridge in front of and behind Sub-Zero. The planes leave and Sub-Zero is faced with at least 30 Armored Warriors, each wielding an Electric Staff - These are the Keepers. The Keeper Commander, a Warrior in different colored Armor steps forward..
Sub-Zero: What the Hell is This?!
Keeper Commander: Your mission ends here, Ninja. We are the Keepers, Shinnok's Elite Warriors.
Sub-Zero: Should I be impressed, I've never heard of You? Now, get the Hell out of My way!
Keeper Commander: You are a skilled warrior and have many titles to your name, but you've become such a nuisance to Lord Shinnok lately. So he sent us to deal with You.
Sub-Zero: Then let Shinnok do something about Me Himself. 30, 60, 120. it doesn't matter How many of You there are. No Warrior around is good enough to defeat Me..except for My Grandmaster.
Keeper Commander: Your words are about to haunt you, Ninja. Keepers Attack!!!
The 29 Keepers attack using their Electric Staffs and great fighting skills. Sub Zero fights back using all of his skills and techniques. All while, the Commander Watches, arms crossed. Sub-Zero's attacks don't do too much Damage, thanks to the Armor the Keepers wear.
It's a tough fight for Sub-Zero and he's almost knocked off the bridge a few times, but he manages to uppercut a bunch of them into the Sea of Immortality, their armor causing them to sink like a stone and nearly drown to death. They can't swim, apparently. After finishing the rest of the Keepers, The Commander steps up to the nearly exhausted, Lin Kuei. He draws his Electric Sword and charges Sub-Zero.
Sub-Zero dodges and uses his Ice Blasts, but The Keeper Commander dodges and attacks. Sub-Zero prepares himself. The fight is on and the 2 warriors are evenly matched. Sub-Zero is almost knocked off the bridge Sub-Zero creates an Ice Grenade and tosses it at the Keeper Commander. The Commander catches the Grenade and laughs. Suddenly, the Grenade begins freezing him whole. The Grenade explodes destroying him. Sub-Zero nearly collapses, catching his breath.
Sub-Zero: Shit! That was tougher than I realized.
Looks beyond the Bridge and sees a Dark Pyramid in the distance - Shinnok's Pyramid.
Sub-Zero: That must be my Next destination.
Sub-Zero runs off the Bridge and toward the Pyramid.

Sub-Zero arrives at the base of the Pyramid. The Voice of Shinnok talks to Sub-Zero. He chuckles menacingly.
Shinnok's Voice: Welcome, Sub-Zero. I Really Knew You'd make it to this point.
Sub-Zero: That..voice? It's the Old Sage from the Prison.
Shinnok chuckles menacingly
Shinnok's Voice: Very good. Your vocal recognition skills are truly worthy of top Lin Kuei Warrior. I know why your here. Yes, Exactly Why? My Precious Amulet. Big apologies Ice Man, but the Amulet belongs to Me and Me alone. And anyone who attempts to steal what's Mine will meet a gruesome end. But You're free to Try.
Shinnok laughs menacingly as the gate to the Pyramid opens.
Shinnok's Voice: I'll be waiting for you at the Top....provided you get past My Greatest Warriors. I wish you the best, Frosty.
Shinnok laughs evily and vanishes
Sub-Zero, a bit tired, but still very determined.
Sub-Zero: I won't stop until the job is done. I'll Destroy Everyone who tries to stop me. For The Honor And Glory of The Lin Kuei!
Sub-Zero rushes into the Pyramid.
Inside, Sub-Zero avoids every single trap he experienced at the Temple of Elements and the Shaolin Temple. He Also fights Satanic versions of the Shaolin Monks. After a bit, he comes across a Teleport Pad, which is surrounded by 4 thin obelisks.
The 1st of Shinnok's Super Elite Assassins / Warriors, Jakaata , an Amazon with great fighting powers, arrives
Jakaata: We meet at last. I an Jakaata, the 1st of Shinnok's Super Elite under Quan Chi, and for You, the last.
Sub-Zero: Move or Die!!!
Jakaata laughs.
Jakaata: I'm afraid You are the one who's doomed, here. Judging by Your current energy level, You should be easy for Me to conquer.
Sub-Zero: We'll see.
Sub-Zero and Jakaata take a fighting stance. The 2 then rush each other and the fight begins. Jakaata uses awesome Kaepoera style fighting and projectiles. But, Sub-Zero, despite being lower on energy, manages to put up a fight.
He eventually defeats Jakaata. Sub-Zero catches his breath and then powers up his Ice Powers. He forms an Ice Spike and hurls it at Jakaata as she rises. The Spike impales Jataaka, killing her. Blood seeps though the ice spike and freezes her a little.
Sub-Zero gets on the Teleport Pad. The Pad takes him to the 2nd Floor of the Pyramid. There he faces off against More Keepers, The Armored Warriors that he fought on the Bridge of Immortality.
Sub-Zero: These guys again.
As Sub-Zero fights and defeats the Keepers, he sees and dodges a Bladed Boomerang, which almost beheads him. The Boomerang returns to it's owner - Kia, The 2nd of Shinnok's Assassins / Warriors under Quan Chi. Kia was shorter than Jakaata, but still very deadly...maybe even more so.
Kia: I am Kia, 2nd of Shinnok's Elite. You were lucky to get this far, Ice Warrior, but it's the end of the line for You. My Boomerang will slice you to pieces.
Sub-Zero: I don't believe in Luck.
Both Kia and Sub-Zero take a battle stance. After a few seconds the battle Begins. Kia attacks using a Bladed Boomerang and killer kickboxing. The fight is tipped in Kia's favor, due to Sub-Zero not being at 100%. Despite that, Sub-Zero uses his Ice Blasts and Kin Kuei Combos to overcome Kia.
Sub-Zero focuses as if in prayer and chants silently in a language that's a combination of Mandarin and Cantonese, confusing Kia. After enough chanting, Kia is engulfed in a plume of thick red smoke. When the smoke clears, Kia is now...an Infant?
Babality!!!!
Sub-Zero chuckles.
Sub-Zero: I can't believe that Ancient Chant worked.
Sub-Zero continues on and finds another Teleport Pad surrounded by 4 thin Obelisks. Sub-Zero steps on it and it takes him to the 3rd floor of The Pyramid.
Once there, Sub-Zero is assaulted by Black Shadow-like Monks. These are Shinnok's #1 Warriors, The Brothers of The Shadow. Sub-Zero, energy 78% spent, bloodied and bruised, fights off the Shadow Warriors. He manages to miraculously beat them all. Sub-Zero collapses, but forces himself up, knowing that he still has a mission to finish.
Sub-Zero pushes forward and makes it to the Teleport Pad.
Female Voice: You go no further.
Sub-Zero turns around and sees Sareena, the 3rd of Shinnok's Elite Assassins and Warriors, behind him. Sub-Zero is now annoyed at everyone getting in his way.
Sub-Zero: I have no time for You, I have a mission to complete. So Haul Ass Now!
Sareena: Sorry, Master's orders. I was instructed to finish you. Nothing personal, but these are my orders. I am Sareena, the 3rd of Shinnok's Elite under Quan Chi.
Sareena gets into a fighting stance, as does Sub-Zero. After a staredown, the fight begins. Sareena attacks with some very impressive combos, as well as a Spin Attack. She and Sub-Zero are evenly matched. But, after getting a second wind, The Ice Warrior defeats the Elite Assassin.
Sub-Zero, catching his breath, looks at the defeated Sareena.
Sub-Zero: Time to finish You.
As Sareena embraces for her end, she is smashed over and over again...with Snowballs?
Sub-Zero chuckles as he pelts Sareena with snowballs. After a few seconds he stops.
Sareena is confused.
Sareena: What the Hell Was That?
Sub-Zero: A Friendship!
Sub-Zero gives her a thumbs up and heads for the Teleport Pad.
Sareena is still confused as she watches Sub-Zero as he teleports to the 4th floor.
Sareena: Friendship?

Shinnok's Pyramid (Quan Chi's Chamber)

Quan Chi waits patiently on his throne as Sub-Zero teleports into his chamber.
Quan Chi: Welcome to my home, Sub-Zero. If you're still looking for the amulet,you can find it at the Pyramid's Apex... around Shinnok's neck. You've arrived a little late.And I see that the journey here has drained you. Your energy levels have got to be 30 - 20% now.
Quan Chi chuckles.
Sub-Zero: I don't give a Damn! I'm Want that Amulet! For The Sake Of The Survival of My Clan, I Will finish my Mission!
Quan Chi chuckles menacingly as He gets off his throne and comes toward Sub-Zero across the bridge.
Quan Chi: Your Mission, You say?
Quan Chi laughs evily.
Quan Chi: Tell me Sub-Zero. Have you ever wondered Why you never Truly suffered in the Neatherealm Atmosphere? Why you are Okay in this realm?
Sub-Zero: The Hell are you going on about, Sorcerer?
Quan Chi laughs evily.
Quan Chi: Don't you realize why Rayden sent you? Well, let me illuminate. The Netherealm is a place for Evil Beings. You could not survive here, unless you're soul was tainted with Evil. That's right, Ninja, You're a Bad Guy. A Bad Guy who belongs here. You may have loyalty to Your Clan, but Shinnok offers Grander Things. Join my Brothers of the Shadow and worship our lord, Shinnok. Well, what do you say?
Sub-Zero: I say Never, Sorcerer! My Clan Is My Life.
Quan Chi: Heh. Then, so it shall be... Ninja. If You won't join willingly, then I'll just have to kill you and have Shinnok reap your soul.
Sub-Zero, still tired and bloodied and bruised, takes a fighting stance. Quan Chi does the same. The Fight begins and the 2nd win doesn't last, as Sub-Zero is overwhelmed by Quan Chi;s Green Projectiles,Bladed Spins, and Combination Attacks.
Though now at only 20% energy, Sub-Zero manages to hold on. Suddenly, Sareena appears and attacks Quan Chi.
Quan Chi: What?! Sareena?!!!
Sub-Zero powers up his Super Ice Blast and freezes Quan Chi. Sareena kick the frozen Sorcerer off of the bridge. Before he could hit the Acid Pit below, Quan Chi breaks out of the ice and teleports away.
Sub Zero turns to Sareena.
Sub-Zero: Why did you help me?
Sareena: I didn't do it for You, specifically, I did it because I'm tired of being a slave and want to live free...free in the Earthrealm. As a Mortal who can return to Earth, You are my only hope. I want You to take Me back with You after Your Mission. I've waited an eternity to escape. I'll even help You get The Amulet.
Sub-Zero: Some help would be appreciated at this point. Thank You.
As Sareena smiles at Sub-zero, an evil chuckle is heard above. The 2 Warriors look up and see Shinnok. Shinnok mocks them.
Shinnok: Oh..what a touching moment..I could cry.. If I was Raised that way.
Sareena: Shinnok!
Sub-Zero is in total shock: It's the Old Sage from The Prison? He's Shinnok?
Shinnok laughs evily.
Shinnok: Quite the twist, isn't it?. An unassuming Old Sage, who just so turns out to be the Supreme Evil of the Multiverse.
Shinnok chuckles as he lands in front of Sareena and grabs her by the neck.
Sub-Zero: Sareena?
Sareena struggles to get free, but it's no use. Shinnok goes from jovial to menacing.
Shinnok: Traitorous Bitch! You've been questioning my Authority for too long..but No More.
Shinnok snaps Sareena's neck,causing her to scream. He then casually tosses the dead Sareena into the Acid Pit.
Shinnok: Well..that was fun. Now to You. Sub-Zero, You've been doing quite well against my Forces and that got me thinking - What a Waste. A Warrior of Your caliber Should be playing for My Team. The Lin Kuei, like every other Terran, are doomed the moment I step foot on your World, so You might as well save Yourself and Join me. Trust me, Bi-Han, my friend, It'll be better that way. I can give You paydays and perks that You could Never get from That Ninja Clan of Yours. You'll fit right in with My Neatherealm Forces. After all, Your Heart and Soul are as wicked as they come.
Sub-Zero takes a moment to soak in Shinnok's words. He then speaks.
Sub-Zero: The Lin Kuei have been my Clan ever since I was an infant. At this point they've become My Family. They may not be perfect, but I'll Always be Loyal to Them. They Are Family and I'll Fight My Ass Off for Their Survival. I Want That Amulet, And I'm Taking It!
Shinnok chuckles casually
Shinnok: So be it, Ninja. I gave You Your Chance...and now it looks like I'll have to go with 'Plan B'.
With a flash Shinnok attacks Sub-Zero and beats the already spent Ninja to a bigger pulp.
Shinnok: If You don't want My Mentorship, then I will simply Kill You and enslave Your Soul.
Sub-Zero tries to fight back, but fails.
Sub-Zero: I have to get that Amulet.
Shinnok laughs evily and grabs Sub-Zero by his neck. The Ice Warrior struggling.
Shinnok: Not looking so Hot, bow, are You Ice Man? Blame Your own Idiocy for that. You're starting bore me now. So, I guess it's time to finish You. You're Soul Is Mine!!
Just as Shinnok is about to finish him off, Sub-Zero, with a 3rd Wind, fires off a mini-Ice Burst into he Evil Elder God's Eyes, blinding him temporarily.
Shinnok screams and drops Sub-Zero.
Shinnock. Damn You, Ice Ninja!!!
Sub-Zero sees his opening and rips the Amulet off of Shinnok's Neck. Suddenly, a portal opens.
Sub-Zero: That Portal? Rayden must've known I've completed my Mission.
Shinnok's eyes start to clear and he's angry.
Shinnok: You're Not Going Anywhere with My Amulet.
Sub-Zero flipps The Enraged Elder God off and jumps though the Portal. The Portal Closes.
Shinnok: Nooooo!!! DamN You, Sub-Zeroo!!!!

Back At The Temple of Elements (Rayden's Chamber)

The Portal opens and Sub-Zero comes bursting through, super spent, bloodied, briused, but with Shinnok's Amulet in hand. He lands with a thud onto the rocky floor at Rayden's feet. Smoke billows from his body as he struggles to get up. Out of breath,he does his best to speak.
Sub-Zero: Here... the Amulet.
Rayden takes the Amulet.
Rayden: Impressive, Sub-Zero. You showed determination and resilience in the face of your greatest challenge. You were, in a way, Heroic. So, perhaps, in time, you can reconcile your reckless past.
Sub-Zero gets up.
Sub-Zero: That's it? Not even a Thank You? What the Hell, Thunder God?!
Rayden: Thank yourself for undoing a problem you created. And while you're at it, give yourself a nice pat on the back for a job well done.
Rayden begins to walk away, but is stopped by Sub-Zero
Sub-Zero: Hold it?! Quan Chi told me that you sent me to the Netherealm because my soul was tainted with evil... is that true?
Rayden: There are many reasons why I sent You. In the Netherealm,my powers are too limited..even more so than in Outworld, thus I'd be too handicapped to succeed. I sent you because I wanted You to correct a fatal mistake that You Yourself made. I also sent You because You were the only Warrior available on such short notice.
Sub-Zero grows annoyed.
Sub-Zero: You didn't answer my Damn Question.
Rayden: You are a superb warrior, Sub-Zero. But only you are in control of your destiny. Not even the Gods can alter your chosen path of life. A persons life is never truly set in stone.
Sub-Zero: Was that a yes, or a no?
Rayden: That was a yes.. But only you can change that.
Rayden takes his leave.
Sub-Zero: One last thing?
Rayden stops.
Rayden: Make it fast.
Sub-Zero: Quan Chi mentioned that he was unable to enter this Temple because he was hated by The Gods of This Realm...especially by You. What exactly did He do to piss You Gods off so much?
Rayden: Let's just way that The Sorcerer meddled with something that He shouldn't have. Now if You'll excuse me, I have to put This in a safer place.
Flashes the Amulet briefly and walks away, soon disappearing in a flash of Lightning.
Sub-Zero sighs and sits on the steps leading to Rayden's Statue.
Mist all but covers the Mongolian ruins as the sun struggles to rise from its slumber.

A few days later, at the Lin Kuei Headquarters, Sub-Zero enters the Grandmaster's Chamber and bows to the Grandmaster, who's sitting on his throne.
Sub-Zero: For the Glory of the Lin Kuei, I've completed another successful Mission, My Grandmaster..
Grandmaster: Welcome back, my warrior. As usual, You make us all proud. With that said, I have a new undertaking for you.
Sub-Zero listens intently.
Grandmaster: It seems that your recent exploits have caught the eye of yet another Sorcerer. He's seen You in action and is quite impressed by Your skills.
Sub-Zero: If They Pay, I'll Play!
The Grandmaster chuckles.
Grandmaster: That's the spirit.
The Grandmasters motions someone to come in from the side. Out comes a Sinister-looking Old Man with a Fu-Man-Chu,wearing a Blue Robe. He speaks in a sinister voice.
Sinister Old Man: Hello. Nice to meet you.

Back in the Nethetealm, Scorpion is in his cell at the Prison of Souls practicing Combos, when he is visited by Shinnok. Scorpion stops to look at the Evil Elder God.
Shinnok: You have some great moves, Scorpion. You're quite an impressive warrior in Your own right.
Scorpion: What do You want?
Shinnok: I'm here to offer you an opportunity...a grand opportunity for Revenge.
Scorpion: I'm listening.
Shinnok: There's this tournament that's happening on Earth in a few weeks, called 'Mortal Kombat'
Scorpion: Yes, I've heard of that tournament. Every 1,000 Years the Tournament is held to decide ownership of the host Realm. As it is written by the Elder Gods of Earth, whichever side wins 10 Tournaments in a row, will win the Host Realm as a prize. It' the reason why Shao Khan owns Outworld and the Realm of Edenia.
Shinnok is impressed by Scorpion's knowledge..
Shinnok: Impressive, Scorpion. You've done your homework. Very good.
Scorpion: It's mandatory learning for all Shirai Ryu. So what does the upcoming Mortal Kombat Tournament have to do with Me?
Shinnok: Glad You've asked. You see, I just learned that Sub-Zero will be partaking in the Tournament. and there are a few good spots left. So, I figured, I could temporary give You mortality and send You back to Earth to compete in the Tournament and extract Your revenge against the Ice Ninja.
Scorpion is thrilled at the idea, but is also cautious.
Scorpion: Sounds great...but, what's in it for You? As the Greatest Evil in the Realms, Charity Work seems too unbecoming of You. So, what Do You get out of this?
Shinnok chuckles.
Shinok: Astute. I like that. Well, there Is something I want from You out of this. You see, I need Sub-Zero dead so that I can claim His Soul for myself. That and I want to disrupt Both Rayden and Shao Khan's momentum by having a representative of the Netherealm enter and Win this thing. I never liked those two much, so seeing them.in shock when one of Our Warriors triumphs, will be a delight. So win this Tournament and I will reward You. I offer You a New Life and a New Ninja Clan for Your victory. So, what do you say, Hanzo? Will You accept My offer.
Scorpion thinks about Shinnok's offer. He makes his decision and nods.
Scorpion: I'm in!
The 2 shake hands. Shinnok smiles evily.
Shinnok: Perfect.
